The Genetics, Genomics & Development Track embraces three complementary disciplines to provide students with a solid foundation of training that will prepare them for careers in some of the most exciting areas of modern biomedical research. Research and training opportunities within the program include molecular genetics of human disease, genetics of complex disorders, use of genetic animal models, genomics, proteomics, stem cell biology and reproductive and developmental biology. Elective courses in specialized areas of the track are available including Medical Genetics, Developmental and Stem Cell Biology, Genomics and Proteomics, and Animal Models. Additional electives are available through other graduate school tracks to allow the student to fully enjoy and benefit from multidisciplinary training. For more information click here.
