Steven Farnsworth Receives Predoctoral (F30) Fellowship

Congratulations to Steven Farnsworth who has been awarded an individual predoctoral (F30) fellowship by the National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research. His work concerns the development of cranial neural crest (CNC) cells for the marmoset, using induced pluripotent stem cells from this nonhuman primate. These cells may be used in future treatments of craniofacial injuries, nerve damage, or tooth loss. Steven is a graduate student in the MCIP DDS/PhD Track in Dr. Peter Hornsby's lab.
