At the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, we teach the Art of Science.

The way scientists are being trained in the biomedical workforce is changing. As a future biomedical expert, you are trained with the most advanced technologies to make discoveries that are improving lives all over the world.

The Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences is constantly evolving to make our programs more akin to what is going on in the field right now.

Our students work in a multidisciplinary environment with faculty on cutting-edge research-- developing new methods for treating cancer, depression, and schizophrenia to name a few.

Art and Science are linked together. When you go out to make a discovery, you are pushing against unchartered territory. In art, as in science, you are creating something new.

We train our students to be problem solvers -- where you go from there is up to you.
