The HRSA – Supported Faculty Development Program in the School of Dentistry is offering the TExAS Course (Teaching Excellence and Academic Skills) for the final time, after many years, in the Spring Semester 2017. The course flyer and syllabus with topics/schedule are attached.
If you know graduate school faculty, postdocs or graduate students who may be interested in TExAS, please let them know - we are taking registrations. We traditionally conduct TExAS at 7 a.m. on Wednesday, but will develop a schedule that meets the availability of participants after the roster is assembled. The start date listed on the schedule is tentative based on enrollment.
This is the last rodeo for TExAS. If there are individuals in graduate program who want a teaching methods course this spring – this is an opportunity.
