Dear Faculty and Researchers,
The President’s Translation & Entrepreneurial Research Fund (PTEF) application is now available. The PTEF is intended to provide funding for projects that have a high probability of being commercialized but are unlikely to do so without gap funding. Funds, typically between $5,000 and $25,000, are awarded to UT Health investigators for direct project costs for short-term milestones of two to three months.
If you are interested in applying, please be sure that the technology for the project is already disclosed or ready for disclosure. All technologies must be disclosed to the OTC by Monday, October 2, 2107 in order to be eligible for consideration. To receive an application, please email (email@example.com).
Applications are due by December 11, 2017 and projects selected for the PTEF Review Session will be notified by December 15, 2017. The PTEF Review Session will be January 31, 2018 and February 1, 2018.
Attached is a PDF with more information. If there are any questions, please contact Meagan Rockne at(firstname.lastname@example.org).
