Congratulations to Neuroscience graduate student Mateen Ahmad Haroon on receiving an Outstanding Student Presentation Award at the UTHSCSA 2015 Physiology Graduate Student Symposium!

The Physiology Graduate Student Symposium was held Friday, April 17th, 2015 at the Medical Center La Quinta Inn & Suites Meeting Facilities where over forty students presented posters and discussed their research. The title of Mateen's poster was 'Perinatal hypoxia enhances vesicular GABA release in the auditory brainstem early postnatal development'.

Mateen conducts his research in the lab of Physiology Assistant Professor Jun Hee Kim Ph.D..
