Congratulations to Neuroscience graduate student David Aguilar on receiving a National Institutes of Health (NIH)/National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) Ruth L. Kirschstein National Research Service Award (NRSA) F31 Fellowship Grant!
The NIH's National Institute of Mental Health granted a Research Fellowship Award to David for his project titled: 'Adolescent cannabinoid exposure in a rodent model of schizophrenia susceptibility'.
The goal of this study is to explore the interaction between genetic and environmental risks in a recently developed rodent model of psychotic susceptibility. The award begins this year, 2015, and concludes in 2017.
David conducts his research in the lab of Pharmacology Assistant Professor Dr. Daniel Lodge.Congratulations David Aguilar!!!
