The Graduate Student Association is excited to host the 7th Annual Terry M. Mikiten Graduate Student Research Forum.
The forum will take place on June 11 and is made possible through the Dr. Terry Mikiten Endowment for Excellence in Graduate Education. As a tribute to Dr. Mikiten and his zeal for learning, his family,
friends, and former colleagues established the endowment in 2008. The endowment helps foster an open discussion of intellectual pursuits in an inviting atmosphere.
If you would like to present your work at this year’s poster session, please submit your abstracts by Friday, April 24 by using the following form: http://goo.gl/zVqVh3. Abstracts are limited to 350 words and cannot contain figures. Please indicate on the form your program, position, and departmental affiliation as this will help categorize your research for judging.
The distinguished lecturer for this year's event is Dr. George Kondraske,
professor of electrical and biomedical engineering at the University of Texas
at Arlington. He is founding director of the Human Performance Institute and holds academic appointments at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas and Texas Woman's University.
