Hi all,

My name is Alison Clark and I am a postdoctoral research fellow at UT Health San Antonio. As most of us know, Hurricane Harvey has made a devastating impact on our neighbors living in the Gulf Coast, particularly those in Port Aransas and Rockport areas.

With the help of the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences, I would like to invite the UT Health San Antonio community in an effort to help out hurricane victims. We will be collecting relief goods for hurricane victims starting Tuesday, August 29th to Friday, August 1st. My husband and I will be collecting these items and distribute them ourselves to individuals in Rockport, TX and surrounding areas this weekend.

Suggested items include:

1) Dry toiletries and hygienic products (toothbrush, toothpaste, baby wipes, hand sanitizer)

2) Blankets and pillows

3) Dry, non-perishable food items

4) Bottled water

Please drop off items at the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences Office in AAB.

In addition, we have set up a GoFundMe page to raise funds for food items and supplies to provide meals for those who need it in Rockport and surrounding areas. If you are feeling compelled to support this cause, please visit our page: https://www.gofundme.com/bnreh9-help-for-harvey-vi...

Thank you so much for your time and participation. I am sure your contributions will be widely appreciated. Please feel to contact me via email (clarka4@uthscsa.edu) or phone (210-241-1327) if you have any further questions and I will gladly answer them!
