Graduate Students Jodie Gray, Nourhan Abdelfattah, Alison Clark, and Angie Salinas volunteered on Saturday, April 30 at the American Cancer Society-San Antonio Relay for Life at Nelson W. Wolff Municipal Stadium.

Relay For Life is a community based fundraising event of the American Cancer Society. Each year, more than 5,000 Relay For Life events take place in over twenty countries.

While volunteering at the American Cancer Society's Survivor Tent, the students helped hang up balloons, serve food, and interacted with cancer survivors.

"We really appreciated it. Your help made the survivor dinner and the Luminaria Ceremony great," said Lisa Ayres, senior market manager of Community Engagement at the American Cancer Society.
