Congratulations to Veronica Obregon-Perko, Stacey Stahl, and Ryan Gilley for winning best poster presentations at the 1st annual "Bugs, Antibodies, and Lymphocytes Under the Bexar Sky" spring retreat.
The retreat explored the exciting studies undertaken by our
graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, and research staff.
It also provided an opportunity to showcase collaborative studies of exceptional breadth, from basic
cellular and molecular immunology to microbial pathogenesis, vaccine design and
autoimmunity, and from cell culture and molecular genetics to the clinic.
Best Poster Presentations:
"Identification Of Molecules Involved In Natural Resistance Of Baboons To Siv Infection"
Dr. Glavedoni's Lab
Derivative Drug Activity against Human Schistosomiasis”
Dr. LoVerde's Lab
