Dear Faculty, Staff and Students,
The time to solidify plans for the annual Health Science Center’s Science Expo has arrived.
We expect 1500 high school and college students from San Antonio and South Texas to arrive on our campus for the event scheduled to occur on Saturday, Nov. 12 from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
The event strives to feature interactive, hands-on activities and presentations to give students an inside look at what it would be like to enter the health professions and research careers.
Faculty, staff and students are invited to volunteer and share their expertise with the future health care professionals and researchers of tomorrow.
Representatives from the School of Medicine, School of Dentistry, School of Health Professions, School of Nursing and the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences are needed to lead discussions, demonstrations, dissections and labs.
Expo cannot be a success without a large number of volunteers. The 2016 volunteer form is attached.
Simply fill in the type of assistance you would like to provide and send it via e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org
