2nd Annual Faculty Showcase of Educational Innovations

Friday, October 30th, 2015

11 am. – 2 pm.

Holly Auditorium Foyer

Submission Deadline Friday, Sept. 18th, 2015 - Acceptance Notification by Sept. 25th, 2015

Posters may be new or previously presented.

  • HSC Short Talks – Six HSC Innovators present Short Talks.
  • oBased on the TED (Technology, Entertainment & Design) model.
  • oTopic is related to a Health Professions Education (HPE) strategy or innovation.
  • oShare exciting teaching & learning innovations.
  • oInspire conversation, networking and development of educational initiatives.

Posters and Short Talks* should address challenges or issues in health professions education, including but not limited to: recruitment, readiness, admissions, mentoring, teaching methodologies, new technologies or teaching strategies (the Flipped Classroom, Team-Based learning, use of an Audience Response System, etc.), instructional/communication systems, evaluation/scholarship of teaching, career planning, quality assurance, faculty development, service learning, or collaborations that assist and inspire HPE.

Refreshments will be served.
