Science Expo

Interested in sharing your academic research with the San Antonio public? Share your research at science fiesta! We are seeking academic poster presentations for the San Antonio Science Exhibition on Saturday, March 5! This will be part of the Science Fiesta, a free, family-friendly event at the Mayor Maury Maverick plaza in La Villita and the Arneson River Amphitheater from 1 – 3 p.m.

S.A. Science Expo is designed to inform, engage, and excite people of all ages about the scientific community here in San Antonio. Our primary mission is to dissolve the barrier of scientific communication between researchers and the public, and to showcase what the scientific community in San Antonio has to offer through the San Antonio Science Expo.

Poster Requirements

We suggest a 3’ by 4’ wide poster. Prepare a 6" high headline strip that runs the full width of the poster. Include the title, authors, and affiliations on the strip in letters not less than 1" high. Posters should be designed to communicate research to the public (i.e. easy to read with clear figures explaining key concepts in simple manner).

Please see the example as a guide. Abstracts are due Feb 26.
