Calais Prince Selected For NIH New Investigator Travel Award

Congratulations to Calais Prince, who will be receiving the NIH New Investigator Travel Award. This is a competitive meritorious award and recipients are chosen "based on review of abstracts submitted to the International Federation of Placenta Associations (IFPA) meeting and are dependent on funding from the NIH.

Her abstract has also been selected for a platform presentation at the International Federation of Placenta Associations meeting in Portland, OR in Sept. 2016.

Calais is one of our Ph.D. students in the Genetics, Genomics & Development track of the Integrated Multidisciplinary Graduate Program (now called Integrated Biomedical Sciences Program). Her mentors is Dr.Leslie Myatt at the Oregon Health and Science University and her co-mentor is Dr. Julie Hensler in the Department of Pharmacology.
