Sarah Lindauer, in the Department of Cell Systems and Anatomy was presented with the Debbie Yrle Distinguished Service Award on January 18 at 4 p.m., Holly Foyer. Lindauer is the Associate Director of Finance and Administration in the Department of Cell Systems and Anatomy.
The Debbie Yrle Distinguished Service Award was created by Dr. Bettie Sue Masters in 2007 following Debbie’s unexpected death. Debbie was Dr. Masters’ long-time administrative assistant in the Department of Biochemistry and exemplified excellence in all she did.
Dr. Masters created this award in Debbie’s memory to recognize individuals who provide outstanding support to the graduate education and research missions of the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences and its’ programs.

Dr. James F. Nelson, chair of the 2016 Selection Committee for the Deborah C. Yrle Distinguished Service Award and professor in the Dept of Cellular and Integrative Physiology and Barshop Institute for Longevity and Aging Studies.
